Giovani musicisti e concertisti di fama a confronto in un repertorio affascinante e fuori dagli schemi più consueti, che si snoda tra l’ironia di Erik Satie e la bizzarria della musica latinoamericana di Darius Milhaud. L’impegno artistico del “Conservatorio G. Pierluigi da Palestrina” ha puntato in alto e all’Auditorium di Piazza Porrino, in occasione del cinquantesimo anniversario della scomparsa di Cocteau e di Poulenc, va in scena la rassegna “JEAN COCTEAU E LE CIRCLE DE MONTPARNASSE”, affidata ai giovani e ai più maturi talenti musicali oggi presenti in Sardegna. Il ciclo concertistico debutta MERCOLEDI’ 16 OTTOBRE all’Auditorium del Conservatorio alle ore 18, con il primo dei quattro concerti, tenuto dal duo pianistico costituito da Amedeo  Cannas e Luca Nurchis. Un appuntamento dedicato, nella prima parte, alla musica ironica di Satie, ispiratore del “Gruppo dei Sei”, autore con Cocteau del balletto surreal-futurista “Parade” che segnò la nascita del Gruppo. La  sua musica scarna ed essenziale, fu ritenuta un insulto per la generazione dei musicisti contemporanei, ma il “Gruppo dei Sei” la prese a modello e stimolo per fronteggiare l’avanzata della musica tedesca. La seconda parte della serata guarda invece al monodramma “Le Boef sur le toit”, originariamente concepito per 25 musicisti e poi trascritto da Milhaud per pianoforte a 4 mani. Il duo Cannas – Nurchis interpreta con gusto ed ironia questo repertorio, particolarmente coinvolgente nel dipanarsi tra armonie anticlassiche e ritmi brasiliani.

Seguiranno i concerti dedicati a Francis Poulenc (23 ottobre), alla musica da camera dal duo al sestetto di tutto il “Gruppo dei Sei” (6 novembre) e alla musica per pianoforte solo di Satie, Poulenc e Milhaud (13 novembre).

Luca Nurchis inizia a studiare pianoforte all’età di 4 anni e a 5 anni ha i suoi primi contatti con il pubblico. Attualmente si sta perfezionando sotto la guida del Mo. Claudio Martinez-Mehner e frequenta il biennio di alta specializzazione presso il Conservatorio di Musica “G.P. da Palestrina” di Cagliari con Francesca Giangrandi, con la quale ha ottenuto il Diploma di Pianoforte presso lo stesso istituto.  Dal 2012 suona regolarmente in duo col pianista Amedeo Cannas.

Amedeo Cannas è un giovane musicista cagliaritano sempre più apprezzato per il suo talento, si è formato sotto la guida di Maurizio Moretti e di Angela Oliviero. Nel Gennaio 2011 è risultato vincitore del concorso Pianistico Internazionale ” Rachmaninoff” in duo pianistico. A Settembre 2013 è prevista la sua prima incisione discografica. Numerose le Masterclass frequentate come allievo effettivo con illustri Maestri come Gerlinde Otto, Benedetto Lupo, Stanisl Pochekin, Jurgis Karnavicius, Yiukio Miyazaki, Rolf Dieter Arens, Gabriel Tacchino e Claudio Martinez Mehner.On the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Cocteau and Poulenc . Young musicians and performers of fame in comparison with a repertoire fascinating and unconventional as usual , that winds through the irony of Erik Satie and the oddity of Latin American music by Darius Milhaud . The artistic talent of the ” Conservatorio G. Pierluigi da Palestrina , “he pointed at the top and at the Auditorium of Piazza Porrino , on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of the death of Cocteau and Poulenc, staged the exhibition” JEAN COCTEAU AND CIRCLE de Montparnasse ” , entrusted to the youth and the mature musical talent today in Sardinia. The concert cycle debuts WEDNESDAY ‘ on October 16 at the Auditorium of the Conservatory at 18, with the first of four concerts , held by the piano duo formed by Amedeo Cannas and Luke Nurchis . Luke Nurchis began studying piano at age 4 and 5 years he made ​​his first contacts with the public. Currently he is studying under the guidance of Mo . Claudio Martinez- Mehner and attended the two-year period of high specialization at the Conservatory of Music “GP da Palestrina” in Cagliari with Giangrandi Francesca , with whom he obtained the diploma in piano at the same institute . Since 2012 he regularly plays in a duo with pianist Amedeo Cannas .

Cannas Amedeo is a young musician Cagliari increasingly appreciated for his talent , he was trained under the guidance of Maurizio Moretti and Angela Oliviero . In January 2011 he won the International Piano Competition ” Rachmaninoff ” in piano duo . In September 2013, provided his first recording .
