Al calar del sole, un incredibile Gioco

Nel pomeriggio di Domenica 13, al calare del sole, presso Il Lavatoio. ITTE Itinerari Teatralizzati ci narrerà di questo incredibile gioco tra Maria Lai, Nivola, Veronesi, Strazza e dieci giovani del paese con una visita teatralizzata dal titolo “Il gioco della fontana che tesse e che suona”. Lo spirito del gioco e lo spirito dell’arte, attraverso le loro parole e la loro gestualità, faranno rivivere questo meraviglioso monumento…in una dimensione di autentica poesia

Percorrendo, a piedi,  la strada sotto le maestose pareti calcare siarriva all’inizio del paese per visitare la prima opera:

La strada delle capre cucite 1992,
con trapano e tondino di ferro (qualche anno dopo sostituito da filo elettrico) Maria Lai cuce sui muri in cemento con procedimento iterativo la forma della capra, figura tradizionale della tessitura di Ulassai.

Si prosegue attraversando tutto il paese, circa 700 metri,  per recarci al panoramico piazzale delle Scuole Elementari per la visita alla seconda installazione

L’arte ci prende per mano 2003
Sul tema della crescita del bambino incontriamo nel piazzale delle scuole elementari La lavagna,  dove campeggia in bella grafia l’emblematica scritta: L’arte ci prende per mano. Un chiaro invito al viaggio nel mondo dell’arte perché, per mettere insieme il visibile e l’invisibile, il bambino ha bisogno di fiabe, leggende, feste, canti e arte.

Successivamente  si prosegue per la visita direzione via Venezia.Distanza circa 400 metri in leggera pendenza.

Via Venezia ci riporta alla Piazza Barigau attraversando “S’Arcu e’ Barigau” . Distanza circa 150 metri.

Il gioco del volo dell’oca, 2002
rimanda al tradizionale gioco dell’oca che tutti,  bambini e adulti, conoscono, tenta di provare come l’arte, con le sue metafore, in questo caso la metafora del volo, possa diventare un percorso della coscienza, creando le condizioni indispensabili alla nascita e alla crescita dell’umano. Dice Maria Lai: Vivere è rompere un guscio dopo l’altro.Quest’opera è stata realizzata sulla pavimentazione della piazza Barigau, luogo d’incontro collettivo, affinché l’arte, interagendo con la comunità,rivendichi  la sua originaria funzione sociale.

Da qui in auto ci  si sposta per il Villaggio di Santa Barbara (7 km circa), Strada panoramica  che ci porta in direzione della Chiesetta di Santa Barbara e delle circostanti “Cumbessias” , lungo.

La strada del rito
Con il risanamento statico ed estetico di alcune strade circostanti il territorio del Comune di Ulassai, promosso dalla Regione Sardegna, Maria Lai realizzò nel 1992 uno dei suoi più impegnativi interventi sul territorio di Ulassai: La strada del rito. Per nobilitare i muri in cemento dispose, a distanza tra loro per circa sette chilometri, forme di uccelli, di pesci e di pani di evangelica memoria.

Pausapranzo al sacco presso il Villaggio ed i boschi circostanti con visita alla chiesetta di Santa Barbara e alle vicine “Cumbessias” costruzioni utilizzate dalle famiglie Ulassesi per il ricovero notturno durante i festeggiamenti per Santa Barbara (terza domenica di maggio):
A poca distanza da Santa Barbara si ergono, da un’altezza a strapiombo di circa 100 mt. e per una larghezza che può raggiungere anche i 60- 70 mt, le altissime cascate ”Lequarci” che, con la loro austera imponenza,costituiscono un mirabile spettacolo di maestosità da cui, nella stagione delle piogge, si riversano nella valle sottostante una serie ininterrotta di minuscoli laghetti che si perdono in lontananza tra le essenze odorose, agri e pungenti del sottobosco mediterraneo. Al momento possiamo ammirarle ma senza la presenza dell’acqua vista la stagione particolarmente secca.
Per chi non intende consumare un pranzo al Verrà fornito un elenco di esercizi presenti nel paese dove sarà possibile recarsi per pranzo o perun semplice snack.

Intorno alle 15.30 si riprende la strada del ritorno verso il paese. In prossimità dell Grotte de Su Marmuri si visitano le  tre installazioni di Maria lai una vicino all’altra.

Il paesaggio boschivo incornicia un’ area vasta e ripida, che chiede per essere colta nella sua totalità uno sguardo ampio, dalla terra al cielo, dalla pietra alle stelle.
In certe ore della giornata il sole colpisce l’acciaio creando suggestivi riflessi di luce visibili dal paese che segnano,come una meridiana il passare del tempo, rintocchi visivi nel paesaggio.

La casa delle inquietudini. In questo intervento Maria Lai crea mostri neri che invadono le pareti interne ed esterne di un edificio di brutta fattura architettonica che riacquista così significato, divenendo totem delle inquietudinidi tutta la comunità.

Sui muri di cemento ancora fresco Maria Lai incide frasi poetiche e pensieri  significativi sull’arte.

Si rientra alla Piazza Barigau, si lasciano le auto e ai piedi, circa 200 metri si raggiunge il Lavatoio dove potremo assistere alla visita Teatralizzata ed Interattiva del monumento. La teatralizzazione e ideata è curata da “ITTE – Itinerari Teatralizzati”. Originale visita tra musiche, luci, poesia e qualche sorpresa.

Gli interventi di quattro illustri artisti, che  hanno operato in tempi diversi,  hanno reso il vecchio lavatoio una significativa e armoniosa espressione d’arte contemporanea.
Di Maria Lai Il telaio soffitto del 1982; Di Luigi Veronesi La fontana della sorgente del 1984, rigoroso mosaico nella lunetta esterna destra; Di Costantino Nivola La fontana sonora del 1987, che si confronta  all’interno con l’opera di Maria Lai; Di Guido Strazza  La fontana del grano del 1989, raffinato mosaico nella lunetta sinistra, e il  disegno della pavimentazione della piazza antistante.

Il telaio scandisce il ritmo orizzontale e verticale dell’ordito dell’Essere.
Essere è Tessere: costruzione di legami e alfabeti.Origine del linguaggio, apertura al mistero.
I tessuti delle donne diventano alfabeto di un sapereprofondo , metafora della comunicazione umana.
L’arte contemporanea trova legami con il passato percostruire il nostro futuro.

On the afternoon of Sunday 13, at sundown , at The Wash . Itte dramatized routes will tell us this amazing game between Maria Lai, Nivola , Veronesi , Strazza and ten youth of the country with a visit dramatized entitled “The Game of the fountain weaving and sounds .” The spirit of the game and the spirit of art , through their words and their gestures , will revive this wonderful monument … in a dimension of authentic poetry

with drill and iron rod ( a few years later replaced by electric wire ) Maria Lai sew on concrete walls with iterative form of the goat, traditional figure of weaving Ulassai .

Continue through the whole country, about 700 meters, with a visit to the scenic square of the Elementary Schools to visit the second installation

A clear invitation to journey into the world of art because , to put together the visible and the invisible, the child needs to fairy tales, legends , festivals , songs and art .

Via Venezia brings us back to square Barigau through ” S’Arcu and ‘ Barigau .” Distance about 150 meters.

recalls the traditional board game that everyone, children and adults, know , try to feel like art, with its metaphors , in this case the metaphor of flight , can become a path of consciousness , creating the conditions essential to the birth and growth of the human. Mary says Lai : To live is to break a shell after another. This work has been carried out on the pavement of the square Barigau , collective meeting place , so that the art , interacting with the community, claiming its original social function.

From here you travel by car to the village of Santa Barbara (7 miles), Scenic Road leads us in the direction of the Church of Santa Barbara and the surrounding ” Cumbessias ” long .

The road of the rite
With the static and aesthetic rehabilitation of some roads surrounding the territory of the Municipality of Ulassai , sponsored by the Region of Sardinia , Maria Lai in 1992 created one of his most challenging operations in the territory of Ulassai : The road of the rite. To dignify concrete walls arranged at a distance from each other for about seven miles, forms of birds, fish and loaves of evangelical memory.

The wooded landscape framing a ‘ wide area , steep , asking to be grasped in its totality a broad look , from earth to heaven , from the stone to the stars.
At certain times of the day the sun hits the steel creating striking reflections of light visible from the country that mark , such as a sundial over time , chimes in the visual landscape.

The house of the concerns . In this paper Maria Lai blacks creates monsters that invade the interior and exterior walls of a building of ugly that regains its architectural significance as well , becoming inquietudinidi totem of the whole community.

We return to the Piazza Barigau , you can leave your car and walk about 200 meters to reach the Wash where we can present at the examination and Interactive dramatized the monument. The dramatization is conceived and organized by ” Itte – Itineraries dramatized .” Original visit between music, lights , poetry and a few surprises .
