Marcello Zappatore è un ragazzo di 33 anni che si guadagna da vivere suonando la chitarra elettrica in una band metal satanista, famosa nella provincia di Lecce. La vita di Marcello è presto sconvolta da uno straordinario evento: un fastidioso prurito al costato, si rivela essere una stigmate. Dono divino o necessità di cambiamento? Questo Marcello non lo sa, ma la stigmate gli procura non pochi problemi, portandolo ad affrontare un viaggio intimo e personale attraverso due mondi apparentemente incompatibili: quello di Dio e quello del Rock ‘n Roll. In questo percorso è accompagnato da una madre bigotta che lo instrada verso l’espiazione in un convento, e da una nonna strampalata che lo incoraggia a non mollare la via del Rock. Ma qual’è la cosa giusta per Marcello? Esiste forse un punto d’incontro anche tra universi opposti?

Il film realizzato nel 2010 ha vinto il premio come miglior film al Brooklyn Film Festival nel 2011 attribuendo anche a Sandra Milo il premio come miglior attrice protagonista.

Marcello Digger is a boy of 33 years who earns a living by playing electric guitar in a metal band Satanist, famous in the province of Lecce. Marcello’s life is soon shattered by an extraordinary event: an annoying itch in the side, turns out to be a stigma. Divine gift or need to change? Marcello does not know this, but the stigmata earned him many problems, leading him on a journey intimate and personal through two seemingly incompatible worlds: that of God and that of the Rock ‘n Roll. This course is accompanied by a bigoted mother who routes it to the atonement in a convent, and a wacky grandmother who encouraged him not to give up the way of the Rock. But what is the right thing for Marcello? Is there also a meeting point between opposed universes?

The film made in 2010 won the award for Best Film at the Brooklyn Film Festival in 2011, giving also to Sandra Milo the award for Best Actress.
