Venerdì 8 e sabato 9 marzo a Cagliari.

La Stagione concertistica 2012-2013 del Teatro Lirico di Cagliari prosegue, venerdì 8 marzo alle 20.30 (turno A) e sabato 9 marzo alle 19 (turno B), con il dodicesimo appuntamento affidato all’Orchestra del Teatro Lirico, guidata da Alessio Allegrini, giovane direttore emergente che debutta al Teatro Lirico di Cagliari.

Il programma musicale propone, nella prima parte, un omaggio a Richard Wagner (Lipsia, 1813 – Venezia, 1883) di cui ricorre, come per Giuseppe Verdi, il duecentesimo anniversario della nascita. In apertura uno squisito bozzetto cameristico, del tutto insolito nell’ambito sonoro wagneriano, l’Idillio di Sigfrido. Idillio nel senso di “immagine”, secondo l’etimologia greca: un quadretto intimistico, offerto dal compositore al figlio neonato Sigfried (un piccolo gruppo di musicisti lo eseguì la prima volta davanti alla porta di casa Wagner). Il concerto entra poi prepotentemente nel mondo operistico wagneriano, con due trascinanti ouvertures, tratte rispettivamente da I maestri cantori di Norimberga e Tannhäuser. Nella seconda parte del concerto, invece, il linguaggio wagneriano viene confrontato con l’altra anima del Romanticismo tedesco del pieno Ottocento: viene infatti eseguita la Sinfonia n. 3 in Fa maggiore op. 90 di Johannes Brahms (Amburgo, 1833 – Vienna, 1897), forse la più fluente e sentimentalmente densa tra le sue quattro sinfonie.

The 2012-2013 concert season of the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari continues, Friday, March 8 at 20.30 (session A) and Saturday, March 9 to 19 (session B), entrusted with the twelfth round of the Opera House Orchestra, led by Alessio Allegrini, emerging young director who made his debut at the Teatro Lirico di Cagliari.

The musical program proposed in the first part, an homage to Richard Wagner (Leipzig, 1813 – Venice, 1883) which marks, as Giuseppe Verdi, the two hundredth anniversary of his birth. At the opening of an exquisite comp chamber, very unusual sound in Wagner, the Siegfried Idyll. Idyll in the sense of “image”, according to the Greek etymology: an intimate picture offered by the composer to the infant son Siegfried (a small group of musicians performed it the first time in front of the door Wagner). The concert then forcefully enters the world of opera Wagner, with two rousing overtures, drawn respectively from Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg and Tannhäuser. In the second part of the concert, however, the language is compared with the other Wagnerian spirit of German Romanticism of the nineteenth century: in fact performed the Symphony no. 3 in F major, Op. 90 by Johannes Brahms (Hamburg, 1833 – Vienna, 1897), perhaps the most fluent and emotionally dense among his four symphonies.
