La Compagnia di Antonio Gades, continuando sulla linea segnata dal suo fondatore, propone ora inserire nel suo repertorio attuale un’opera mitica di danza-teatro a tema.

Un lavoro pioneristico sul quale si cimentarono tanti creatori della danza spagnola, iniziando per il proprio Gades con la sua mitica, “Bodas de sangre”.  Si tratta del balletto Rango del coreografo Rafael Aguilar, che, basato su “La casa di Bernarda Alba”, di Federico Garcia Lorca, debuttó a Parigi nel 1963, e per il quale Gades considerava un’opera maestra, che incluse nel repertorio del Balletto Nazionale, e piú tardi nella sua stessa Compagnia, interpretando in varie occasioni il ruolo della propria Bernarda. Il balletto, che ha una durata di, circa, 33 minuti, è accompagnato da una seconda parte della durata di un’ora: Suite Flamenca n. 2. Il flamenco, dichiarato dall’UNESCO come Patrimonio Immateriale dell’Umanitá.  La Compagnia pone sulle tavole del palcoscenico alcuni dei pezzi di riferimento storico in questo genere: la “Seguidilla” o il “Mirabrás”, coreografati da Antonio Gades, tra gli altri, o la mitica “Soleá”, del Güito, montata per la Compagnia dal proprio Maestro.

The Society of Antonio Gades, continuing on the line marked by its founder, now proposes to include in its current repertoire of dance-theater work mythical theme.

Pioneering work on which wrestled many creators of Spanish dance, starting for your Gades with his mythical, “Bodas de sangre”. This is the Rank of the ballet choreographer Rafael Aguilar, who, based on “The House of Bernarda Alba” by Federico Garcia Lorca, premiered in Paris in 1963, and for which Gades considered a masterpiece, which are included in the repertoire of the Ballet national, and later in his own company, playing on several occasions the role of Bernarda own. The ballet, which has a duration of, approximately, 33 minutes, is accompanied by a second part of the duration of one hour: Suite Flamenca n. 2. Flamenco, declared by UNESCO as Intangible Heritage of Humanity. The Company places on the boards of the stage some of the pieces of historical reference in this genre: the “Seguidilla” or “Mirabrás”, choreographed by Antonio Gades, among others, or the mythical “Soleá” of Guito, mounted to the Company from his Master.
