LA VITA IN UN FUMETTO – CINETECA SARDA – CAGLIARI – GIOVEDI 7 FEBBRAIOLIFE IN A COMIC STRIP – CINETECA SARDA – CAGLIARI – THURSDAY FEBRUARY 7

Nell’ambito della campagna di promozione della lingua tedesca “DEUTSCHWAGEN-vieni con noi” arriva a Cagliari Kati Rickenbach, nota fumettista e illustratrice svizzera tedesca.
L’artista terrà due laboratori di “graphic novel” nelle scuole di Cagliari e incontrerà il pubblico giovedì 7 febbraio ’13 alle ore 20,00 alla Cineteca Sarda. Elisabetta Randaccio, critica ed esperta di media e arti visive, interviene sul tema “donne e fumetto” e intervista Kati Rickenbach sul suo percorso artistico.

Kati Rickenbach
Nata a Basilea nel 1980, compie gli studi all’Accademia d’Arte di Lucerna e alla HAW di Amburgo. Dal 2005 è fumettista e illustratrice. Ottiene la notorietà grazie alla serie di fumetti Zyri, pubblicata sul settimanale “Züritipp” di Zurigo. Nel 2007 esce il suo primo libro, Filmriss, e nel 2011 il secondo, Jetzt kommt später, entrambi autobiografici. Pubblica in numerose riviste, tra cui “Orang”, “Strapazin”, “Flitter”, “Two Fast Colour”, “Blutt”. Tiene laboratori nelle scuole e “disegna dal vivo” in occasione di reading ed eventi culturali. Vive a Zurigo, dove lavora come coeditrice per la rivista “Strapazin”.
Partecipa a mostre e festival in Svizzera, Germania, Svezia, Norvegia, Italia, Russia, India e Cina. Ottiene importanti premi e borse di studio, tra cui il “Max und Moritz Preis” di Erlangen e il “Pro Helvetia Atelier” a Nuova Delhi.

As part of the campaign to promote the German language “DEUTSCHWAGEN-come with us” get to Cagliari Kati Rickenbach, known cartoonist and illustrator Swiss German.
The artist will hold two workshops “graphic novel” in the schools of Cagliari and meet the public on Thursday, February 7 ’13 at 20:00 to the Film Library Sarda. Elizabeth Randaccio, critical and expert in media and visual arts, speaks on “women and comics” and Kati Rickenbach interview on his artistic career.

Kati Rickenbach
