Sa Sartiglia 2013 di Oristano si svolgerà domenica 10 e martedi 12 febbraio; grande attesa come ogni anno per questa meravigliosa giostra equestre di carnevale nel centro della città.

I Gremi che corrono La Sartiglia, sono il Gremio dei Contadini, sotto la protezione di San Giovanni Battista, e il Gremio dei Falegnami, sotto la protezione di San Giuseppe.

Sa Sartiglia (Sartilla o Sartilia) è una giostra equestre, più precisamente una corsa all’anello, di origine medievale (XIV secolo) che si corre l’ultima domenica e il martedì di carnevale ad Oristano.

È una fra le più spettacolari forme di Carnevale della Sardegna, ed è la festa più importante e più grande di Oristano.

Le radici della giostra sono molto antiche e vanno fatte risalire ai giochi militari utilizzati per l’addestramento delle milizie, in Sardegna questo tipo di gare cavalleresche furono importate dagli spagnoli.

I Gremi sono le antiche corporazioni delle arti e mestieri, che corrono La Sartiglia, al giorno d’oggi sopravvivono il Gremio dei Contadini, sotto la protezione di San Giovanni Battista, e il Gremio dei Falegnami, sotto la protezione di San Giuseppe.

Il protagonista della Sartiglia è Su Cumponidori: uomo e donna allo stesso tempo, né femmina né maschio; sono i due Gremi a scegliere chi vestirà i panni di su Cumponidori. C’è un antico rituale che ha culmine nella vestizione, un rito denso di sacralità, perché su Cumponidori deve essere forte, puro e coraggioso, deve diventare un sacerdote della fecondità. La Vestizione de Su Componidori da il via alla Sartiglia.

Dopo la vestizione, su Cumponidori, preceduto da un corteo in abito tradizionale sardo, dai membri del gremio e da tamburini e trombettieri, dai suoi luogotenenti su Segundu Cumponi e su Tertzu Cumponi, guida la testa di altri 117 cavalieri mascherati, con cavalli ricchi di ornamenti, e si dirige verso la via Duomo, dove verrà la Corsa alla Stella, e le Pariglie (acrobazie sui cavalli, estremamente pericolose). Durante la manifestazione ogni momento è scandito dai ritmi dei tamburi e dai suoni delle trombe a sottolinearne l’importanza e la solennità della Sartiglia.

ORE 10

Di primo mattino, il gruppo dei tamburini e dei trombettieri partendo dalla piazza Eleonora davanti al Palazzo del Comune e alla sede della Fondazione Sartiglia, scorta un araldo a cavallo che nelle vie del centro storico, da lettura del Bando della Sartiglia, invitando il popolo ad assistere alla giostra equestre.

ORE 11

Apertura Ufficio Postale con Annullo Postale Speciale nella Sede della Fondazione. Uno sportello filatelico straordinario, a cura di Poste Italiane: tutta la corrispondenza viene annullata con gli annulli figurati speciali predisposti per celebrare la Sartiglia. Inoltre sarà predisposto un Folder filatelico che conterrà le cartoline affrancate e annullate e i dati salienti della Sartiglia.

ORE 12

- Domenica, vestizione de Su Componidori nella sede del Gremio dei Contadini in via Aristana.

- Martedì, vestizione de Su Componidori nella sede del Gremio dei Falegnami in via Angioy.

La mattina della corsa su Componidori (il Capocorsa), dopo la visita alle scuderie per salutare gli amici e cavalieri, si reca presso la casa del presidente del gremio da dove verso le 11 il corteo si reca nella sede dove avverrà la Vestizione. Il gruppo dei tamburini e trombettieri, apre il corteo composto dalle “massaieddas” e dalla massaia manna, che portano con dei cestini gli abiti de su Componidori, i componenti del gremio, che custodiscono le spade e gli stocchi per la corsa, e su Componidori. Terminata la vestizione, dal tavolo dove è stato vestito, su Componidori monta sul cavallo. In quel momento il presidente del gremio gli consegna sa Pipia ‘e Maiu. Con segni di benedizione, salutando il presidente del gremio, l e tutti i presenti, il Componidori si porta verso l’uscita riverso sul cavallo esce dalla sede del gremio.

ORE 13,15

Al termine della cerimonia della vestizione de su Componidoru, il corteo dei 120 cavalieri guidato dal capocorsa e preceduto dai trombettieri e tamburini, massaieddas e dal gremio dei Contadini, si dirige in sfilata, verso il percorso di via Duomo nel quale si svolge la corsa alla stella.

ORE 13,30 circa

CORSA ALLA STELLA

Con il triplice incrocio di spade tra su Componidori e il suo secondo che si svolge proprio sotto il nastro verde che sostiene la stella e il ritmo segnato dai tamburi ha inizio la corsa. La prima discesa spetta a Su Componidori poi a seguire i sui compagni di pariglia, la pariglia del Componidori della Sartiglia del martedì e tutti i cavalieri a cui concederà di scendere alla stella.Seguiranno le discese con lo stocco e sa Remada.

Da quel momento si ricompone il corteo dei cavalieri che ripercorrendo la via Duomo e passando dal corso Umberto e dalla piazza Roma, si dirige verso la via Mazzini, teatro dove si svolgeranno le Pariglie.

ORE 16,30 circa

CORSA DELLE PARIGLIE

Da Su Brocci”, il piccolo tunnel che si immette nella via Mazzini, prendono il via le spericolate acrobazie dei cavalieri. Su questo percorso, secondo l’ordine di sfilata, tutte le pariglie partecipanti potranno cimentarsi nelle evoluzioni: apre e chiude la corsa delle Pariglie la pariglia de su Componidori.

ORE 18,30

- Domenica Svestizione de su Componidori nella sede del Gremio dei Contadini .

- Martedì Svestizione de su Componidori nella sede del Gremio dei Falegnami .

Al termine della corsa delle pariglie il corteo si ricompone e ritorna sul percorso della via Mazzini. Ormai all’imbrunire, la sfilata dei cavalli e dei cavalieri segna la fine della corsa. Al termine della sfilata il corteo formato dai trombettieri, dai tamburini, dal gremio e dai cavalieri, si dirige alla volta della sede del gremio dove è avvenuta la vestizione de su Componidori per procedere con la Svestizione. Levati il cilindro e il velo, lo straordinario rullo dei tamburi segna il momento in cui viene tolta la maschera. Da quel momento il gremio, i cavalieri e tutti i presenti si recano da lui per salutarlo e congratularsi.

Sa Sartiglia of Oristano in 2013 will take place on Sunday 10 and Tuesday 12 February, great expectations like every year for this wonderful equestrian carnival in the city center.

The Gremi running Sartiglia are the Gremio Farmers, under the protection of St John the Baptist, and Gremio of the Carpenters, under the protection of St. Joseph.

Sa Sartiglia (Sartilla or Sartilia) is an equestrian, more precisely, a race to the ring, of medieval origin (XIV century) that takes place on the last Sunday and Tuesday of Carnival in Oristano.

It is one of the most spectacular forms of Carnival of Sardinia, and is the most important festival and the largest of Oristano.

The roots of the carousel are very old and should be traced back to the military games used for training of the militia, in this type of Sardinia chivalrous races were imported by the Spaniards.

The Guilds are guilds of arts and crafts, running Sartiglia to survive today Gremio Farmers, under the protection of St John the Baptist, and Gremio of the Carpenters, under the protection of St. Joseph.

The protagonist of the Sartiglia is On Cumponidori: man and woman at the same time, neither male nor female, are the two Gremi to choose who will play on Cumponidori. There is an ancient ritual that peak in the habit, a ritual full of sacredness because of Cumponidori must be strong, brave and pure, it must become a priest of fertility. Early in the morning, the group of drummers and trumpeters from the square Eleonora front of the Town Hall and the headquarters of the Foundation Sartiglia, spare a herald on horseback through the streets of the old town, reading the Notice of Sartiglia, inviting the people to watch the equestrian.
