Torna per il settimo anno consecutivo la prima Convention in Sardegna dedicata al tatuaggio e alla body art.
Artisti di fama nazionale e internazionale, rivenditori, spettacoli di giocoleria e bourlesque, concerti, mostre, esposizioni di auto e moto, shooting live.

Un ricco calendario di eventi musicali, artistici e di spettacolo tra concerti, dj, danza, burlesque e intrattenimento, installazioni d’arte e mostre sarà allestito per la Tattoo Convention Cagliari.
In tutti e tre i giorni ci saranno i trampolieri del Teatro Del Sottosuolo e saranno allestite le installazioni di Kippy la Rue, la mostra collettiva “Ritr’arte” sul tema del tatuaggio, l’esposizione di auto d’epoca e moto a cura del collettivo Bobber Cycles.

La compagnia nasce dallo spirito danzante del gruppo seguito artisticamente dalle sorelle Tania e Sara Olianas. Le danzatrici (Luisella Deiana, Anthea Mattana, Francesca Mulas, Valeria Murru, Evelise Obinu, Elisabetta Picciau oltre a Tania e Sara Olianas) si sono ritrovate insieme per dedicarsi allo studio e alla divulgazione di due stili innovativi ed estremamente suggestivi che trovano le loro radici in America: l’American Tribal Style e il Tribal Fusion nati dalla combinazione di danza orientale, danza indiana. flamenco e yoga.

Il teatro che incontra l’acrobatica e il circo per un mix ironico e dissacrante: la Ditta Vigliacci (Mirko Ariu e Antonio Iavarone) da cinque anni porta in scena in Sardegna e non solo spettacoli originali dai ritmi incalzanti che si richiamano al cabaret e humor nero. Per la Tattoo Convention Cagliari la Ditta presenterà uno spettacolo pensato e realizzato ad hoc sul tema dei tatuaggi.

Ore: 22:00 Thank U For Smoking (Cagliari)

La band di Valerio Marras, Aurora Atzeni e Matteo Mereu in vita dal 2009 ha all’attivo oltre 150 concerti live e ha diviso il palco con Killing Joke, Bellini, Massimo Zamboni, Mombu, Dyse, Teatro degli Orrori, Tying Tiffany. In curriculum i TUFS hanno una colonna sonora per un film indipendente, un ep uscito nel 2011, il disco “Dopo la quiete” (2012) presentato con un intenso tour nazionale, la collaborazione con la videofactory indipendente “Quadratino Pericoloso” nel dvd girato in Islanda “Island”. Fresco di stampa il disco “Yomi” , uscito in streaming nazionale esclusivo sul mensile musicale “Rumore” e già presentato in un tour europeo attraverso Italia, Slovenia, Ungheria, Austria, Germania e Svizzera: nell’ultimo lavoro discografico le spiccate influenze noise e post convivono in vortici doom, drone, space e alternative. Il concetto strumentale è stato ampliato ed approfondito, marcato da una vocalità eterea, a tratti struggente. Ospite d’eccezione al sax baritono e contralto Luca T. Mai (ZU/Mombu) .

Ore: 21:00 Jolie Rouge (Cagliari)

Giuseppe Melis AKA Jolie Rouge è un rapper, beatmaker e producer cagliaritano. Inizia come breaker e writer nel 2001 e due anni dopo esordisce con la partecipazione al progetto “La citta fantasma” del gruppo emergente La Kasbah, col quale collaborera negli anni a seguire. Nel 2005 fonda il gruppo Knock Out Force, con cui realizza due anni dopo il concept album “Spazzatura” che vede varie partecipazioni di artisti dell’isola. Il lavoro ottiene diversi apprezzamenti nella scena del rap isolano e il gruppo fa diverse apparizioni live aprendo i palchi a Turi, Bassi Maestro, Kaos One, Ensi, Truce Klan, Metro Stars e altri. Attualmente Rouge lavora a nuovo materiale inedito e fa parte dei collettivi Boomstate e BeTrue Movment. Nel live è affiancato da Scarto, rapper e bassista delle bands hardcore My Own Prison e Rise After Defeat, e da Robz5hit, producer electro\dubstep di Cagliari. La musica di Jolie Rouge e un concentrato di hiphop classico contaminato da diverse infuenze, con testi che si richiamano alla critica al sistema odierno, alla cultura dell’immagine e all’appiattimento culturale del mondo dei giovani.

Ore: 22:00 Dope D.O.D. (Groniger, Olanda)

La band olandese inizia a farsi conoscere nel 2011 con il brano “What Happened” del 2011: i tre mc Dopey Rotten, Skits Vicious e Jay Reaper, il producer Peter Songolo e il dj Dr. Diggles creano un suono potente e originale, una fusione tra rap, hardcore, hip hop e bass music che attira da subito l’attenzione di stampa e pubblico. Nello stesso anno seguono il tour europeo dei Limp Bizkit e subito dopo approdano negli Stati Uniti per suonare con i Korn. Del 2011 è “The Evil EP” e il loro album di esordio, “Branded”.
Il 2012 è l’anno della consacrazione definitiva, soprattutto grazie alla partecipazione ai festival internazionali più importanti: dal SXSW al Lowlands passando per Rock en Seines, Hip Hop Kemp e tanti altri con oltre 115 show in 17 paesi differenti solo nel 2012. Nel 2013 arriva il secondo album, “Da Roach”, in cui figurano ospiti internazionali di assoluto rilievo come Redman, Onyx, Sean Price e Kool Keith. Da qui riparte un tour che fa registrare il sold out ovunque, date italiane comprese anche grazie alla collaborazione con il rapper di Olbia Salmo per il brano “Blood Shake” , con migliaia di presenze. La forza d’impatto del loro rap dal vivo viene amplificata dalla presenza scenica elettrizzante dei tre mc. “Master Xploder” nuovo lavoro in studio, è appena uscito in esclusiva italiana per l’etichetta Machete Empire Records.

Ore: 20:00 Contest e premiazione tatuaggi eseguiti in convention e fuori convention

Come di consueto, il terzo e ultimo giorno della Tattoo Convention Cagliari si svolgerà il contest per la premiazione dei tatuaggi più belli: a partire dalle 18 di domenica 24 agosto una giuria di professionisti sceglierà i migliori lavori eseguiti in convention e fuori convention.

Cinque le categorie in concorso: realistico, figurativo, giapponese, tribale e traditional. Ci si può iscrivere al contest esclusivamente nei giorni della Convention compilando e consegnando il modulo alla segreteria organizzativa. I tre primi classificati per ogni categoria avranno un premio artigianale ideato appositamente per la Tattoo Convention Cagliari. I premi per il contest dell’edizione 2014 saranno creati dall’artista di Alghero Antonio Serio e dal toscano El Rana.

Ore: 21:00 “Lo show delle Meraviglie” con Cleo Viper e Christopher Wonder (Milano – Los Angeles)

Il mago di Los Angeles Christopher Wonder e la ballerina-burlesque artist Cleo Viper hanno ideato questo spettacolo poetico e divertente insieme, fatto di colpi di scena, sensualità, richiami al teatro e al cinema di Fellini. Un azzardatissimo e buffissimo mix di burlesque e magia che trascina lo spettatore in un mondo in bianco e nero, di felliniana memoria.
Cleo Viper, l’indiscussa madrina del Burlesque in Italia, è la co-creatrice e coreografa della prima troupe burlesque della penisola, la Voodoo Deluxe, nel 2007. Da allora continua ad esibirsi come artista indipendente in Italia ed in giro per tutto il mondo. Durante il Wonder Show si esibisce con i suoi acts burlesque piu’ classici e famosi, dando un pizzico di malizia e sensualità ad uno show dai sapori circensi e vaudeville.
Christopher Wonder, in arrivo da Los Angeles, si è diplomato alla Scuola di Magia “Chavez” di Chicago. Ha collaborato con Cake, Cirque Du Soleil, Devo, Devendra Banhart. Durante i suoi spettacoli beve birra, ipnotizza galline, fa scomparire sigarette, palline, carte e qualsiasi cosa gli capiti sotto mano. Gonfia e scoppia palloncini magici, fa fare capriole in aria a cagnolini addomesticati, crea rose dal nulla e sorride sempre, in un trionfo di fuochi d’artificio e incidenti mancati.Back for the seventh consecutive year, the first Convention in Sardinia dedicated to tattoo and body art.
