Una delle caratteristiche che contraddistingue questa gara è l’esaltazione del territorio attraverso lo sport.
L’evento sportivo a calendario diviene un appuntamento fisso e la collocazione temporale del Rally Costa Smeralda incrementa le presenze in bassa stagione. Ne deriva un coinvolgimento di tutti gli operatori del settore turistico: alberghi, bed and breakfast, ristoranti e i diversi vettori, aerei e marittimi. L’appuntamento di apertura è a Olbia,  venerdì 21 giugno , alle 17.30 con la partenza della 1^ tappa.
Il Parco Assistenza sarà ubicato in Olbia , isola bianca Terminal Crociere , mentre la Cerimonia di Premiazione in Olbia via Principe Umberto fronte Comune di Olbia , sabato 22 giugno alle ore 17.30.
Il Quartier generale Rally con segreteria, direzione gara e sala stampa verrà allestito presso il Geovillage Sport & Convention Resort Circonvallazione Nord direzione Golfo Aranci 07026 – Olbia (OT)

One of the distinguishing characteristics of this race is the exaltation of the territory through sport.
The sporting event on the calendar becomes a fixture and the timing of the Rally Costa Smeralda boosts presence in low season. The result is an involvement of all stakeholders involved in tourism: hotels, bed and breakfasts, restaurants, and different carriers, air and sea. The event is open to Olbia, Friday, June 21, at 17.30 with the start of the 1st stage.
The Service Park will be located in Olbia, White Island Cruise Terminal, while the Award Ceremony in Olbia via Principe Umberto facing the City of Olbia, on Saturday 22 June at 17.30.
The Rally Headquarters with voicemail, race direction and press room will be set up at the Geovillage Sport & Convention Resort 07026 North Ring towards Golfo Aranci – Olbia (OT)
