Ritorna anche quest’anno la Notte dei Poeti a Nora, giunta alla sua 32° edizione.

I protagonisti : Giancarlo Giannini e Iaia Forte, l’attore e autore senegalese Mohamed Ba, Marco Bocci (nel ruolo di Modigliani), e Los Hermanos Macana con il loro tango macho. Accanto a loro, risalta lo splendore della “Polvere di Stelle” (per grandi e piccini) fra la magia del nouveau cirque del “Circus Maccus!”, la meraviglia del “Volo dell’Innocenza” del Teatro Tages e l’ironia di “Bestie Feroci Revolution”, operina modulare firmata Teatro dallarmadio.

Vi è inoltre “La Notte dei Piccoli Poeti”, dedicata ai giovanissimi, che dà spazio a creatività e divertimento, da un workshop di teatrodanza “Sulle tracce di Gulliver” ai giochi acrobatici e gli esercizi di giocoleria del laboratorio “In Viaggio” con Virginia Viviano e la Compagnia Maccus, al piacere di costruire e animare un burattino con “La pianta dei…” del Teatro Tages, ispirato a una favola di Rodari.

Fil rouge della kermesse, il tema del viaggio reale o fantastico, tra le creature del teatro shakespeariano e la vita avventurosa degli artisti del circo, seguendo le tracce dei migranti o il cammino verso il successo rapido quanto effimero, e perfino nella memoria del Belpaese, sulle note di una canzone.
Parole e note riecheggeranno tra le antiche pietre del Teatro Romano di Nora – saranno i monologhi shakespeariani su partiture romantiche, o racconteranno le peripezie di popoli in fuga scandite dal violoncello; riproporranno i ricordi di Tony Pagoda (cantante melodico napoletano) o la storia di Modì, per divenire struggenti con i ritmi sincopati del “pensiero triste che si balla”. Oltre il palcoscenico sospeso tra cielo e mare, la “Notte dei Poeti” regala affascinanti incursioni tra la spiaggia e la città, a scuola e a Casa Frau: eventi e spettacoli, performances e laboratori, e una mostra-installazione di alto valore culturale, che coniugano letteratura e teatro, musica e arti visive, come invito alla lettura e alla (ri)scoperta dei classici.
Un progetto insieme artistico e pedagogico capace di coinvolgere un pubblico adulto e sollecitare le giovani menti attraverso i diversi linguaggi della scena e gli esercizi di creatività, che è stato accolto e condiviso dall’amministrazione comunale di Pula, con il sostegno della RAS e del MiBACT, e l’apporto della Fondazione Banco di Sardegna e di Sardinia Ferries, e la collaborazione di partners strategici sul territorio come le ProLoco di Pula, Iglesias, Meana Sardo e Lanusei e degli altri centri dell’Isola aderenti al Circuito Teatrale Regionale Sardo.

La magia di un “Sogno di una notte di mezza estate” inaugurerà il festival (l’11 luglio), per un viaggio nell’immaginario shakespeariano, nel progetto ideato dal pianista Giovanni Bellucci, protagonista del recital insieme a Giancarlo Giannini (in questi giorni testimonial dei Mondiali di Calcio in Brasile nello spot di Sky). L’attore, artista poliedrico e geniale, capace di toccare le corde più diverse, dall’ironia al dramma, al grottesco, darà voce ai personaggi del bardo insieme alle straordinarie note del pianoforte di Giovanni Bellucci, in un raffinato gioco di accostamenti tra poesia e musica, tra la crudele bellezza e profondità del teatro elisabettiano e il Romanticismo di Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Liszt e Chopin, le partiture rinascimentali di Byrd e i virtuosismi di Alkan, e citazioni di Rossini e Busoni.
“La Notte dei Poeti” di Nora ospiterà la moderna epopea dei migranti (il 18 luglio) con “Il tempo dalla mia parte” di Mohamed Ba: l’attore e autore teatrale nonché musicista senegalese, sotto i riflettori insieme al violoncellista Marco Ravasio, rievocherà sulla falsariga del romanzo le vicissitudini di quanti spinti da guerra, fame e persecuzioni attraversano mare, cielo, montagne e deserti inseguendo il sogno di un futuro migliore nell’Europa (in)ospitale. Tra accenti barocchi e musica popolare, blues, rock e spirituals, fino a “Time Is On My Side” dei Rolling Stones, prende forma la storia di Amed, partito dalla mitica Jolof, in Africa, alla ricerca del tamburo magico per invocare la pioggia, e dei tanti che come lui affrontano l’ignoto, per approdare nell’inferno di CIE e CPT.
Fascino e sensualità del tango argentino, rivisitato con ironia e eleganza nelle acrobatiche coreografie de Los Hermanos Macana: in “Tango Bar 2014” (in cartellone il 19 luglio) i fratelli Enrique e Guillermo De Fazio rievocano le origini del ballo popolare, danzando in coppia come i “compadritos” (i guappi dell’epoca) che, per carenza di donne, erano costretti ad allenarsi e ballare tra loro, gareggiando in carattere e bravura. Un tango macho, intrigante e sensuale, suonato dal vivo e interpretato con lo stile peculiare dei due artisti, che miscelano talento e energia, divertimento, e grande rispetto per la tradizione del ballo nato per le vie di Buenos Aires.
Una straordinaria Iaia Forte, musa di Mario Martone e Pappi Corsicato e icona del nostro cinema, torna nell’Isola dopo il successo dalla tournée internazionale con le “Operette Morali” di Martone: l’attrice sarà protagonista nel ruolo en travesti di Tony Pagoda in “Hanno Tutti Ragione”, dall’omonimo romanzo di Paolo Sorrentino (con il quale ha girato “La grande bellezza” – Premio Oscar come miglior film straniero, pluripremiato al David di Donatello 2014). Focus sul cantante napoletano (già personaggio del film cult di Sorrentino “Un uomo in più”), all’apice della sua carriera, nella New York degli Anni ’50: in attesa di esibirsi al Radio Music Hall davanti a Frank Sinatra «in una sorta di allucinazione del sentire, è attraversato da barlumi di memoria, illuminazioni di sé, “struggenze” d’amore, sarcastiche considerazioni partorite tra le note delle canzoni».
Ritratto d’artista – in anteprima nazionale il 25 luglio alle 20 – con “Modigliani et ses femmes” di Angelo Longoni, che firma anche la regia dell’opera multimediale ispirata alla vita e all’opera del pittore Amedeo Modigliani: sullo sfondo della Parigi d’inizio Novecento, Modigliani – interpretato da Marco Bocci, attore di cinema e teatro (e futuro sposo di Laura Chiatti), insieme a quattro attrici che incarnano le donne simbolo, amiche e amanti, e modelle dei suoi dipinti – trascorre un’esistenza bohémienne, nella ricca e animata temperie culturale della capitale francese, tra il fiorire delle avanguardie – dal Cubismo al Surrealismo – fino alla precoce morte nel 1920. L’omaggio a Modì si completa nella mostra “The Impossible Modigliani”, un suggestivo itinerario tra opere e lettere, documenti, fotografie, oggetti e testimonianze inedite, a cura della Fondazione Amedeo Modigliani: la riproduzione puntuale (e virtuale) di dipinti e sculture dell’artista livornese, resa possibile dalle nuove tecnologie, permetterà di scoprire e confrontarsi con celebri capolavori, di riscoprirne il segno poetico e lunare.

S’intitola “Polvere di Stelle” l’intrigante e spettacolare trittico che parte dalla spiaggia di Nora con le acrobazie aeree e i “numeri” del “Circus Maccus!” ideato e diretto da Virginia Viviano (sabato 12 luglio alle 18) per proseguire a Casa Frau (martedì 15 luglio dalle 19 alle 22) con il “Volo dell’Innocenza”, poetico frammento proposto dal Teatro Tages e infine il divertissement teatral musicale “Bestie Feroci Revolution” del Teatro dallarmadio (in programma giovedì 17 luglio dalle 22 sempre a Casa Frau): in scena Fabio Marceddu e Antonello Murgia per un significativo e curioso amarcord tra storia e canzoni.
Si gioca con la fantasia ne “La Notte dei Piccoli Poeti” pensata per bambini e ragazzi: le meraviglie del circo sono al centro di “In Viaggio”, il laboratorio a cura della Compagnia Maccus che permetterà a bimbi e adolescenti di confrontarsi con le arti circensi (dal 13 al 17 luglio sulla spiaggia di Nora); la Scuola elementare Sant’Efisio ospiterà invece dal 14 al 18 luglio “Sulle tracce di Gulliver”, il laboratorio di teatrodanza a cura di Enrica Spada, che prende spunto dal celebre romanzo di Swift; sempre nella Scuola (il 16 e 17 luglio) Agostino Cacciabue e Rita Xaxa del Teatro Tages con “La pianta dei…” guideranno un gruppo di giovanissimi nella lettura di una favola di Rodari con finale aperto – e quindi da scrivere – per arrivare a un’ipotesi di messinscena, con la realizzazione e l’animazione di personalissimi burattini.
Sguardi sull’arte del Novecento, infine, per il XXXII Festival “La Notte dei Poeti” con una mostra-installazione dedicata ad Amedeo Modigliani, pittore e scultore livornese, trasferitosi nella Parigi del primo Novecento: “The Impossible Modigliani” è un percorso visionario tra riproduzioni virtuali di opere e documenti, per riscoprire la vivace temperie culturale della capitale francese.

Beside them stands out the splendor of “Stardust” (for all ages) between the magic of the nouveau cirque “Maccus Circus”, the wonder of the “Flight of Innocence” at the Teatro Tages and the irony of “Ferocious beasts Revolution “, operetta modular signed dallarmadio Theatre.

There is also “The Night of the Little Poets”, dedicated to the young, which gives space to creativity and fun, with a workshop of dance theater “In the Footsteps of Gulliver” to acrobatic games and exercises juggling lab “Road Trip” with Virginia Viviano and the Company Maccus, pleasure to build and animate a puppet with “the plan of …” at the Teatro Tages, inspired by a tale of Rodari.

Leitmotif of the event, the theme of travel real or fantastic, among the creatures of Shakespearean theater, and the history of the circus, following in the footsteps of migrants or the path to success fast as ephemeral, and even in the memory of the beautiful country, to the tune of a song.
Words and sounds reverberate between the ancient stones of the Roman Theatre of Nora – will be the Shakespearean monologues of romantic scores, or recount the adventures of peoples fleeing punctuated by cello; will re memories of Tony Pagoda (Neapolitan crooner) or the story of Modi, to become poignant with the syncopated rhythms of “sad thought that is danced.” Beyond the stage, suspended between sky and sea, the “Night of the Poets” gives fascinating raids between the beach and the city, at school and at home Frau events and shows, performances and workshops, and an exhibition-installation of high cultural value, which combine literature and theater, music and visual arts, as an invitation to read and (re) discovery of the classics.
A project with artistic and pedagogical able to engage an adult audience and encourage young minds through the different languages ​​of the scene and the exercises of creativity, which was accepted and shared by the City of Pula, with the support of the SAR and the MiBACT , and the contribution of the Fondazione Banco di Sardegna and Sardinia Ferries, and in collaboration with strategic partners in the area as the ProLoco Pula, Iglesias, Meana Sardo Lanusei and the other centers of the island belonging to the Sardinian Regional Theatre Circuit.
The magic of a “Dream of a Midsummer Night” will inaugurate the festival (July 11), for a journey into Shakespeare, in a project conceived by pianist John Bellucci, star of the recital together with Giancarlo Giannini (these days testimonial of the World Cup in Brazil in the spot of Sky).
