1°EDIZIONE ARZANA BIKE RACE – ARZANA – DOMENICA 12 OTTOBRE 20141st EDITION ARZANA BIKE RACE – ARZANA – SUNDAY OCTOBER 12,2014

Tutto pronto ad Arzana che ospiterà domenica 12 ottobre la prima edizione della ARZANA BIKE RACE “Granfondo”: una gara di mountain bike valida per la seconda prova del Gran Prix Marathon Sardegna 2014, alla quale saranno abbinate una Point to Point ed un’escursione non competitiva.

L’evento, organizzato dalla GLEsport A.S.D. sotto l’egida della Federazione Ciclistica Italiana (F.C.I), rappresenta una importante novità per il Comune di Arzana, aprendo nuove prospettive per il futuro. Così  sottolinea il Rag. Salvatore Meloni presidente del Comitato Regionale F.C.I.. “Le ricadute di queste manifestazioni sul nostro territorio – spiega Marco Melis sindaco di Arzana – sono importanti sia dal punto di vista economico che turistico. Gare sportive di importanza sia regionale che internazionale, realizzate in collaborazione con la F.C.I., possono rappresentare un grande veicolo promozionale per il turismo attivo, che attrae centinaia di persone a conoscere in sella alla propria mountain bike il territorio sardo, dai suoi percorsi sempre così suggestivi ed impervi.”

La Marathon si svilupperà in un percorso ad anello di circa 30 km da ripetere due volte con un dislivello di 2.400 mt, riservato esclusivamente ai tesserati Open e Categorie Amatoriali; mentre la Point to Point si percorrerà per circa 32 km con un dislivello di 1441 mt, riservata ai Junior, ai Master che opteranno per questa distanza ed agli escursionisti di età superiore ai 17 anni.

E’ ammessa la partecipazione di tutti i tesserati F.C.I e di altri Enti di Promozione Sportiva, con tessera valida per l’anno 2014.

Per le sole Società F.C.I le iscrizioni si effettueranno attraverso il sistema informatico federale web http://ksport.fattorek.it/fci – id. GARA: 65402.

Per gli appartenenti ad altri Enti e per gli escursionisti sarà disponibile on line un apposito form, direttamente scaricabile dal sito www.goodlooking.it

E’stata stipulata, inoltre, una convenzione con l’Hotel Murru di Arzana (OG) per tutti coloro che volessero soggiornare nei giorni precedenti l’evento (info sul sito della gara) .
