12th GOAT FESTIVAL – ARBUS – 27 TO 29 JULY

It ‘scheduled for the weekend next July 27 to 29, the Feast of the Goat in Arbus, now in its twelfth year. Breeding goats along with sheep, is an important piece of the economy. The Association of breeders of sheep and goats Arbus, on Sunday 29 July, visitors will delight the palate with a rich menu of dishes all made from goat meat, seasoned and accompanied by only local products.

In addition to the tasting, you can visit the location of the goatherd, assist and participate in the workshop for making cheese, visit the exhibition of food products and local handicrafts.
It shall also follow the animation by the Folk Group City of Arbus, and the Theatre Company of Serramanna On Stentu, with the comedy “Up Spizzu de S’argia” Andrea Melas (Press Theatre Collection)
