10° EDIZIONE CORSI INVERNALI DI JAZZ – NUORO – DAL 10 MARZO10th EDITION WINTER COURSES JAZZ – NUORO – FROM MARCH 10

E’ un anno di ricorrenze significative, questo 2013, per il Seminario Jazz di Nuoro: la prossima estate, come sempre tra fine agosto e i primi di settembre, l’iniziativa didattica fondata nel 1989 da Paolo Fresu con la compianta Antonietta Chironi, spegnerà infatti le sue prime venticinque candeline. Ma nel frattempo, tra marzo e maggio, anche i Corsi Invernali, collegamento ideale fra un’edizione e l’altra del seminario estivo, arrivano alla loro decima volta: un traguardo anche questo importante per il ciclo di lezioni organizzati dall’Assessorato alla Cultura del Comune e dall’Ente Musicale di Nuoro nell’ambito dei corsi della Scuola Civica di Musica “Antonietta Chironi”.

Formula e calendario ricalcano quelli degli anni passati, con cinque appuntamenti in programma a Nuoro nell’arco di tre domeniche – – 10 marzo, 24 marzo e 14 aprile – – più due weekend a maggio: sabato 11 e domenica 12, poi, infine, il 25 e il 26. Ci sono alcune novità, invece, tra le file del corpo docente, che come sempre schiera musicisti di primissimo piano della scena jazzistica sarda: Francesca Corrias sale in cattedra nella classe di canto al posto di Rossella Faa; in quella di pianoforte, invece, Paolo Carrus subentra ad Alessandro Di Liberto, mentre Giovanni Sanna Passino raccoglie il testimone da Raffaele Polcino per le lezioni di tromba. Tre new entry, dunque, che vanno ad affiancare gli “habitué” dei corsi invernali nuoresi: il sassofonista Massimo Carboni, il chitarrista Angelo Lazzeri, il contrabbassista Salvatore Maltana, il batterista Luca Piana e Giovanni Agostino Frassetto, pianista, flautista, compositore e arrangiatore nonché responsabile artistico dei corsi.

Ancora una volta arricchisce l’offerta didattica la masterclass di un jazzista in arrivo dall’altra parte del Tirreno: così, dopo Stefano Bollani, Gianni Cazzola, Paolino Dalla Porta, Marco Tamburini, Maurizio Giammarco, Bebo Ferra, David Linx, Roberto Gatto e Dado Moroni, ospiti nelle passate occasioni, quest’anno è il turno del sassofonista Emanuele Cisi, atteso a Nuoro il 25 maggio.

Anche per questa edizione numero dieci dei corsi invernali di jazz le quote di iscrizione restano invariate: 35 euro per ogni singolo appuntamento, 100 euro per l’intero corso. It ‘a year of significant anniversaries, this 2013 Seminar of Nuoro Jazz: The next summer, as always between late August and early September, the education initiative established in 1989 by Paolo Fresu with Antoinette lamented Chironi, shut it its first twenty-five candles. But in the meantime, between March and May, even the Winter courses, ideal connection between one issue and the other of the summer seminar, arrive at their tenth time: a goal too important to the series of lectures organized by the Culture the City of Music and Ente Nuoro during the courses of the Civic School of Music “Antonietta Chironi.”

Formula and calendar are modeled on those of previous years, with five events held in Nuoro over three Sundays – 10 March, 24 March and 14 April – more than two weekends in May: Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th, then, finally, 25 and 26. There are some new features, however, among the ranks of the teaching staff, as always, detached musicians of the highest order of the jazz scene Sardinian Francesca Corrias salt in a chair in the singing class instead of Rossella Faa, in the piano, however, Paul Carrus successor to Alessandro Di Liberto, while Giovanni Sanna Passino takes over from Raffaele Polcino lessons for trumpet. Three new entries, then, that go to support the “regulars” of winter courses Nuoro: saxophonist Massimo Carboni, guitarist Angelo Lazzeri, Salvatore Maltana bassist, drummer Luca Piana and John Augustine Frassetto, pianist, flutist, composer and arranger and artistic director of the course.

Once again enriches the educational offer a jazz masterclass coming across the Tyrrhenian Sea: so, after Stefano Bollani, Gianni Cazzola, Paolino Dalla Porta, Marco Tamburini, Maurizio Giammarco, Bebo Ferra, David Linx, Roberto Gatto Dado Moroni, guests in past occasions, this year it is the turn of the saxophonist Emanuele Cisi, expected in Nuoro May 25.

This edition number ten of winter courses of jazz registration fees remain the same: 35 euro for each appointment, 100 euro for the entire course.
