L’incontro con la scena lombarda ha mostrato compagnie dal forte carattere, che con grandi differenze fra loro, esprimevano nel complesso una critica dura ad una società edonista e arrogante. La scelta è caduta ora sulla Toscana, territorio particolarmente fertile per il nuovo teatro, anche per il sostegno al rinnovamento che ha caratterizzato le politiche locali e per la presenza di festival e centri orientati alla promozione e al sostegno della ricerca teatrale, dove negli ultimi anni sono nati alcuni dei gruppi più interessanti e originali a livello nazionale e realtà giovanissime stanno emergendo.

Le compagnie selezionate, in molti casi già affermate sul territorio nazionale, in altri rivelazioni recenti, rappresentano la generazione fra i 25 e i 40 anni. Alcuni elementi accomunano il loro lavoro: energia, fantasia, precisione formale, ritmo e la capacità di interrogare il presente con lucida leggerezza e implacabile ironia. Dalla comicità feroce al nonsense, dalla dimensione surreale alla complicità allusiva e affettuosa col presente, gli spettacoli scelti attraversano con originalità tutte le sfumature del comico, incantano e coinvolgono il  pubblico.

ØSCENA FESTIVAL è un progetto condiviso di Teatro Stabile della Sardegna e Cada Die Teatro di Cagliari, una collaborazione, nata dall’esigenza di esplorare ed indagare quel che si muove nei più giovani teatri delle altre regioni d’Italia. L’intento è di promuovere un appuntamento che, anno dopo anno, presenti al pubblico cagliaritano le inquietudini, le differenze e le costanti di questo nuovo teatro, regione per regione. Esistono, nella cultura e nel teatro italiano particolarità regionali, radicate nella storia, nella tradizione, nella lingua, e che si ripropongono anche nel presente, come specchio sulla trasformazione del nostro paese. Esistono anche elementi comuni generazionali, tensioni che si esprimono con affinità e differenze e che è importante proporre al pubblico e ai giovani operatori come opportunità di confronto e di incontro

Il festival vede la sua realizzazione nei rispettivi spazi che i promotori animano: il Teatro Massimo e il Teatro La Vetreria. Un modo per mettere in collegamento la città, i pubblici e le poetiche col fine di realizzare una nuova mappa del teatro cittadino.

Perché “ØScena”: ØScena la realtà a cui ci riferiamo, in cui ci costringiamo a vivere e che ostinatamente giorno dopo giorno coltiviamo. E chi può meglio raccontarci questo fenomeno di decadimento se non chi lo subisce più pesantemente? La generazione degli anni Ø, la generazione nata precaria, a cui è negato ogni scampolo di futuro

The meeting with the scene Lombard companies showed a strong character , who with great differences among them, expressing an overall harsh criticism to a hedonistic society and arrogant. The choice fell on now Tuscany, particularly fertile territory for the new theater , also to support the renewal that has characterized local policies and the presence of festivals and centers geared to the promotion and support of theater research , where in recent years has produced some of the most interesting and original at the national level and actually very young are emerging.

The selected companies , in many cases, already established on the national territory , in other recent revelations , represent the generation between 25 and 40 years. Some elements are common to their work : energy, fantasy , formal precision , rhythm and the ability to interrogate the present with glossy light and implacable irony. From comedy to fierce nonsense from the surreal dimension to the complicity allusive and affectionate with the present, shows chosen through with all the nuances of the original comic, enchant and involve the public .

Obscene FESTIVAL is a joint project of the Teatro Stabile of Sardinia and Cada Die Theatre of Cagliari , a collaboration was born from the need to explore and investigate that moves in the youngest theaters in other regions of Italy. The intent is to promote an event that , year after year , present to the public the concerns of Cagliari , the differences and the constants of this new theater , region by region. There , in the culture and distinctive regional Italian theater , rooted in history, tradition , language, and which arise in the present , as a mirror on the transformation of our country. There are also common elements generational tensions that are expressed with similarities and differences and that it is important to offer to the public and to young professionals as an opportunity for discussion and meeting

The festival sees its implementation in their respective areas that promoters animate : the Teatro Massimo and Teatro La glassware . One way to bridge the city , the public and poetry with the aim to create a new map of the city theater .

Why “obscene ” obscene reality to which we refer , in which we force ourselves to live and who stubbornly grow day after day .
